Douglas R. Coombs MD, FAAP
- Dr. Coombs is a native of Salt Lake City, Utah.
- He graduated from the U. of Utah after completing a 2 year LDS mission to Australia.
- He received his medical doctorate at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in 1972.
- He completed a 4 year pediatric residency including 18 months specialty fellowship in pediatric infectious diseases at the Naval Regional Medical Center, San Diego, CA.
- Certified, American Board of Pediatrics
- He is a retired Colonel, Utah Army National Guard.
- He is past president, Davis County Medical Society.
- Dr. Coombs is married, has 4 grown children and so far 10 grandchildren.
- His favorite pastimes include golf, backpacking, and travel.

Lisa A. Sharp, RN, FNP, CS

Education: Ricks College, Brigham Young University

Joined Dr. Coombs’ office in June 1993.

Previously worked at Primary Children’s Medical Center as a nurse practitioner and clinical educator.

Enjoys the daily variety of pediatric and adolescent concerns such as well child care, asthma and infant concerns.

Also enjoys helping those with more long-term challenges such as ADHD, anxiety, depression and behavioral issues.

An active member, past president of the Utah Chapter of the National Association Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.

Received Clinical Excellence Award-Primary Children’s Medical Center.

Proud mother of 3 daughters, 3 grandsons and 1 great husband.

Gina Capps, CPNP, MSN

Received Master of Science Nursing at the University of Utah.

Worked at Primary Children’s Medical Center for ten years on the Infant Unit, Pain Service and Same Day Surgery.

Has worked in Pediatric Primary Care in Dr. Coombs’ office since 1998.
-
Special areas of interest include prevention and management of childhood overweight/obesity, asthma, and bowel, bladder problems.

Professional organizations: NAPNAP (President of the Utah chapter in 2005-2006.)

Stacey Bushell, CPNP, MSN
- Education: Master Science in Nursing from the University of Utah
- Joined Dr. Coombs’ office in 2001 with thirteen years experience.
- Enjoys all aspects of pediatric healthcare, well child visits, sick visit and is interested in nutrition and weight management.
- President of the National Association Pediatric Nurse Practitioners in 2006.
- Married with four children and one dog.
- Enjoys cooking, crafting, reading and running.
